The Music:
We ALL are the orphan children of a wonderfully dysfunctional family known as the Beatles. Is it any wonder we take after our four fathers?
Ellen Degeneres:
Our song Ellen Degeneres is a catchy little ditty, and a true story.
Interesting facts about the Music:
In a most amazing turn of events…especially for a Beatle friendly group like PEOPLEMANIA, we ended up in close contact with Mark Hudson, and Julia Baird. What do you mean you’ve never heard of Mark Hudson and Julia Baird?
Mark Hudson reached fame and fortune with The Hudson Brothers Razzel Dazzel Television show…remember? NO??? He went out with Cher? He’s Kate Hudson’s uncle? Still nothing? OK this will help. Mark Hudson produced NINE solo albums for RINGO STARR of the Beatles.
MARK HUDSON was kind enough to submit some lyrics to PEOPLEMANIA with his song idea “Ballerina in the Crosswalk”.
Now you MUST know Julia Baird. I’ll give you a hint, she isn’t related to three of the Beatles. You guessed it! That means she isn’t related to ANY of the Monkees either. Greenday? We have no idea. Ok, so who IS Julia Baird related to? You’re gonna wish you’d guessed …She’s John Lennon’s SISTER.
JULIA BAIRD was very kind to submit some lyrics she felt needed be used in a song. Her haunting opening three lines inspired us to try and channel John Lennon himself for the writing of “Feeling My Love”.
Other interesting facts about the music:
Fans, friends and facebookers tend to submit lyrics to ROCK n ROLL BANDS, thinking the band will ACTUALLY use their stupid lyrics. Well the great thing about PEOPLEMANIA, is that we actually DO! We also might included some of what they wrote, just as a personal note to the band. See? Let us explain, in one of our songs... "Talkin' to ME" the line “It’s all I’ve got so far”... that we use as the VERY, VERY most important line in the song, was actually a “personal note” written at the bottom of the page. The poet must of wanted to let us know that her poem was unfinished and that’s all she had “written” so far. WELL WE LOVED IT! This also explains the line Etc Etc Etc.
So listen up! We would like to extend a gracious invitation to YOU and YOU and especially YOU. Send us your WORST poem. We might actually use it! No we don't REALLY think your lyrics are STUPID!
